International Women's Day Social Media Posts

Meet Sarah!

Sarah is the smiling face that greets us all at the door every morning when we walk in. A valuable member of the operations team, she places orders, arranges travel, makes sure that the kitchens are stocked, and much more. She also is responsible for picking up our community birthday cake each month - but she’s NOT responsible for chasing us around when we hit a sugar high. ;)

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Sarah! We’re so lucky to have you.

Meet Jillian!

Always reliable and ready to help, Jillian is a key member of our marketing team! An eleven year veteran here at Stardock, she is responsible for developing our websites, mailers, and much more. Jillian is also a powerhouse at home, raising her 2 girls with love, affection, and more than her fair share of coffee. ;)

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Jillian! We’re so lucky to have you.

Meet Katie!

With a sharp attention to detail, a degree in graphic design, and more than 8 years experience here at Stardock, Katie is our Marketing Operations Manager and the backbone of the team! A supportive leader, Katie utilizes multiple project management tools to do what Brad calls “herding cats.” It’s because of her organization and ability to hunt down and get information that the team meets the (sometimes tight!) deadlines. She spends her free time chasing down her adorable 15-month old daughter, and - wait, is there time for anything else?

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Katie! We’re so lucky to have you.

Meet Stephanie!

Seldom without her dog Arrow at her side, Stephanie is a bright light in the office with her great humor and welcoming smile. It’s no wonder she’s a valuable member of the HR team! She is always ready to answer questions and make sure we have everything we need to file our taxes (yuck) or handle our insurance claims (double yuck). Adulting may not always be fun, but Stephanie makes that pill a little easier to swallow!

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Stephanie! We’re so lucky to have you.

Meet Amy!

The heart of the operations team, Amy is credited with helping to find some of the amazing talent that we have here! Most anyone who interviews meets her; she is helpful, pleasant, and full of HR knowledge. Her biggest efforts here involve preserving our company culture with things like special events - from cook-offs to movie days - and providing all of us with affordable benefit options. Her door is always open for us when we need anything - Amy is dedicated to supporting every member of the company across all teams!

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Amy! We’re so lucky to have you.

Meet Debbie!

The co-founder of Stardock, Debbie has been here from the very beginning, even before the days of incorporation! She even once recounted the days of packaging boxes of the original Galactic Civilizations and preparing them for shipping, long before digital distribution was a “thing.” Debbie has had many different roles throughout her years here - everything from demoing at trade shows, to running the books, to payroll, and more - but is currently our Assistant Operations Manager and Corporate Treasurer. On top of all of that, she provides our weekly morale boost with “Treat Tuesdays” - our favorite day!

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Debbie! We’re so lucky to have you.

Meet Angie!

Known by some as “The Dark Queen,” Angie has had many roles at Stardock over the course of her 22 years here. Currently, she is the general manager of software and oversees the day-to-day of development, business strategy, and vision for Stardock’s software. In her spare time (what’s spare time?), Angie enjoys working with stained and fused glass and wrangling a herd of unruly Dachshunds. She also raised a small human to adulthood successfully, so that’s pretty cool, too. Angie is a riot to have around the office - you never know what Monty Python quote she might hit you with!

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Angie! We’re so lucky to have you.

Meet Kristy!

The first one to don a costume, make a prop, or volunteer to whip up something for a cook-off, Kristy is enthusiastic and excited about, well...everything! Just take a look at her desk. You may have seen her on Twitch, where she spends her time producing streams with members of the dev teams. She’s also the copy writer for the marketing team and is responsible for almost all written materials, from Steam pages to website text, all the way to posts for Facebook and Twitter. Yes, that includes this one. And yes, it’s super weird to write about myself like this, but man do I love it here!

Meet Cari!

Cari first started at Stardock as an intern in May of 2000 and is now a key developer on the Galactic Civilizations team! Integral in the development of GalCiv II, Cari took 3 years off to be a stay at home mom with her wonderful daughter, but now she’s back and we’re super happy about that! She’s now working on GalCiv III and the upcoming Intrigue expansion. Cari also loves to bake, and sometimes we even reap the benefits of extra treats when she brings them in to share. :)

Thanks for all that you do at Stardock, Cari! We’re so lucky to have you.
